Happy 4th of July!

I love, love, love going to the fireworks in Boston on July 4th. It's been a tradition since I was here for college. Even then, being on campus at MIT, we always had fantastic views of the incredible lightshow.

This year, we're planning on heading out there again. Maybe it's habit, or maybe because we're comfortable with the Cambridge side, but we've never ventured over to watch the fireworks from the Boston side.

This will be the first year (ever!) that we've owned a grill, so of course we're taking full advantage of it. Finally, we can join the tradition that millions of Americans do every year.

Just for fun, I've compiled the (smallish) list of grill recipes I've created up to this date.

Enjoy!

I just recently made this, but I'm already tempted to make it again because it's so good. Do consider trying this simple Taiwanese grilled corn as a starter.
Grilled Sweet Potato with Lime, Chili, Cilantro
Or some grilled sweet potato with lime and cilantro, in a more Mexican direction.Grilled Halloumi and Meyer Lemons
I personally loved grilled halloumi (a Greek cheese), and would happily eat that any day.
Prime Ribeye steak from Costco
Of course, you could argue we should eat purely American food on this American holiday, like a good prime ribeye steak.

How about enjoying your salmon simply grilled whole as a filet?
Copper River Coho Salmon
Or have it with a lovely mint honey mustard sauce (thanks Bobby Flay!).

Another option: make grilled skirt steak, which can easily be served as tacos.
Fish Tacos
Or make Baja fish tacos (Bryan's favorite!) even yummier.

Whatever you do, make sure your relax and cherish the time with friends and family. Hope you all have a lovely 4th!
